Job Overview:
As the Chargé de l'équipe du projet 2LERP in Bukavu, the primary responsibility is to facilitate the achievement of project objectives by coordinating and reporting on all project activities, particularly focusing on capacity-building efforts for partners. This role involves providing technical guidance to partner staff responsible for implementing their capacity-building plans and executing projects funded by rapid response funds. The position requires strong coordination and relationship management skills to ensure that the project adheres to best practices and continuously seeks to enhance its impact on the communities served. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring project implementation, addressing challenges, and fostering collaboration among local stakeholders to promote project activities and outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for this position include supporting the implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan, ensuring compliance with CRS program quality standards, donor requirements, and best practices. The candidate will monitor and report any identified issues or gaps to adjust implementation plans and timelines accordingly. Additionally, the role involves assisting partners in reflecting on lessons learned from the project, coordinating working relationships with all local project stakeholders in Bukavu, and serving as a liaison between them and the project team to mobilize local actors. The candidate will also gather information on capacity needs and technical assistance for partner organizations, monitor capacity-building activities to ensure effective impact, complete project documentation for assigned activities, and help identify information for case studies and reports on promising practices.

Required Qualifications:
The basic qualifications for this position include a minimum of a BAC+3 degree in project management or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in the humanitarian sector, particularly in implementing complex projects and addressing humanitarian access issues. International experience is considered an asset. The candidate must have a strong understanding of humanitarian principles and access issues, experience partnering with local humanitarian organizations, and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and communication systems (e.g., SAT phone, Radio, internet). The ability to conduct complex contextual analyses and identify trends is also essential. Personal characteristics and skills required include strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, a customer service orientation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to advise and assist field staff remotely, ethical conduct, and the capacity for security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security foresight, autonomy, discernment, and humanitarianism.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a degree at the BAC+3 level in project management or a related discipline. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of project implementation and management within the humanitarian context.

The position requires at least two years of relevant experience in the humanitarian field, specifically in implementing complex projects and addressing humanitarian access challenges. Experience working internationally is a plus, as it provides a broader perspective on humanitarian issues and practices.

Languages:
The mandatory languages for this position are proficiency in French and Swahili. Knowledge of English and other local languages is considered an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse stakeholders and communities.

Additional Notes:
The job may require travel up to 25% of the time. The position is based in Bukavu, and candidates residing in the project implementation areas will be prioritized.
