Job Overview: The Field Monitoring Assistant will play a crucial role in the WFP Palestine Gaza Area Office, focusing on monitoring activities to ensure the effective delivery of assistance packages. Duties and Responsibilities: The Field Monitoring Assistant will be responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to: conducting process monitoring for WFP activities across all modalities, ensuring compliance with established plans and monitoring requirements; performing post-distribution monitoring visits at the household level; collecting qualitative data through interviews and focus group discussions; reporting findings and observations to supervisors for timely resolution of issues; maintaining accurate records of assistance program data; liaising with cooperating partners to gather feedback; providing guidance on WFP operational practices; preparing detailed field mission reports; and following emergency response processes for food assistance.
