Job Overview:
The Data Warehouse Consultant position is integral to the IAEA's Division of Information Technology, specifically within the AIPS Management Section. The consultant will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery of the Finance and Budget Data Warehouse, which is integrated with the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This role involves leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of the data warehouse solution to ensure that reliable and actionable financial data is available for both internal and external reporting. The consultant will collaborate closely with IT and Finance teams to streamline business processes and propose data-driven solutions that align with organizational standards and reporting requirements. Additionally, the role includes training and documentation responsibilities, as well as coordination with business owners to ensure that technical solutions meet strategic financial goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Data Warehouse Consultant will conduct impact analyses for Finance and Budget data requirements, design and document conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the Data Warehouse, and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle EBS and other sources. The consultant will also remediate and optimize existing reports to align with updated data structures, perform system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and create Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards. Furthermore, the consultant will create metadata subject areas to support ad-hoc reporting and BI artifacts, deliver training sessions, and prepare technical documentation for end users and support teams. Collaboration with Finance stakeholders is essential to ensure data accuracy and usability for reporting, and the consultant will support process improvement initiatives by proposing automated and scalable data solutions.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in information technology, management, computer sciences, or related fields. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or related fields is required. Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2, particularly in Finance and Budget modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Purchase Orders (PO), Projects, and Budgeting is essential. A strong understanding of Oracle EBS 12.2 data structures and integration points is necessary, along with hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator or Informatica. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning is required, as well as experience designing and developing dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices is also important, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders is crucial.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's Degree in information technology, management, computer sciences, or related fields.
