Job Overview:
The Administrative and Financial Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the EU funded THAMM Plus Programme, which aims to enhance the employability of potential migrant workers and facilitate sustainable labor mobility between Egypt and EU member states. This position involves providing senior-level administrative and financial support, ensuring efficient operations within the project. The incumbent will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, including processing entitlements, maintaining records, and assisting project staff with administrative regulations. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including ILO constituents and UN agencies. The Assistant will also be involved in organizing workshops and meetings, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative and Financial Assistant include ensuring the smooth functioning of project administration and office management, processing entitlements, issuing contracts, and maintaining records. The incumbent will advise project staff on administrative rules and assist in travel arrangements. They will participate in organizing special meetings and coordinate administrative arrangements for workshops and seminars. The Assistant will prepare correspondence and reports, manage incoming correspondence, and monitor deadlines for responses. They will also handle budget analysis, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with ILO rules and donor requirements. Additionally, the role involves maintaining project documents, contributing to reporting and statistics, and supporting communication and visibility activities. The Assistant may also supervise junior administrative staff and perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed secondary school education, supplemented by formal training in administration, accounting, finance, or a related field. A diploma or certificate in financial management is considered an asset. The role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment, with a focus on gender-sensitive behavior and attitudes.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is the completion of secondary school education. Candidates with additional formal training in administration, accounting, finance, or related fields will be preferred. A diploma or certificate in financial management would be advantageous and enhance a candidate's suitability for the role.

Experience:
The position requires at least six years of progressively responsible administrative and financial work experience, including supervisory experience. Languages:
