Job Overview:
The SRH Analyst position is pivotal in coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on sexual and reproductive health (SRH) activities in the Cotabato region, particularly focusing on HIV programming and the medical aspects of gender-based violence (GBV) response. The Analyst will be responsible for the rollout of SRH initiatives, tracking progress, and reporting results while advocating for SRH services and facilitating capacity development to ensure quality care. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including government counterparts, civil society organizations, and other UN agencies, to strengthen SRH services for vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons. The SRH Analyst will also lead the SRH Sub-Cluster in the field, guided by national health plans and UNFPA's country program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The SRH Analyst will undertake a variety of duties, including providing technical assistance to UNFPA and implementing partners in planning and monitoring SRHR activities, particularly in humanitarian contexts. They will support the development and revision of results-based Annual Work Plans (AWPs) and conduct quality assurance of progress reports from implementing partners. The Analyst will also establish relationships with government and non-government stakeholders, build partnerships with local and regional entities, and contribute to resource mobilization efforts for SRHR initiatives. Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for submitting monthly accomplishment reports detailing target deliverables and achievements, and may be required to travel as needed for the role.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree in health sciences, public health, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (Bachelor's) in the relevant fields, combined with at least two years of qualifying experience, may be accepted. Previous work experience in sexual and reproductive health is an asset, and experience in humanitarian settings is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with field experience, particularly in the BARMM region.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an advanced degree in health sciences or public health. A first-level university degree in these fields may also be considered if accompanied by sufficient relevant experience. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the complexities of sexual and reproductive health issues and the ability to implement effective programs.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in sexual and reproductive health, with a preference for those who have worked in humanitarian contexts. Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring work plans is advantageous, as is field experience in the BARMM or previous ARMM regions. Candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and possess excellent communication skills.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Filipino is mandatory for this position, as effective communication is vital for collaboration with local partners and stakeholders. Additionally, a working knowledge of local languages is desirable, as it can enhance engagement with the communities served by the SRH initiatives.

Additional Notes:
This consultancy position is full-time and has a duration of six months, with the expectation of working Monday to Friday. The SRH Analyst will be based in Mindanao, BARMM, and will be required to submit monthly accomplishment reports detailing progress and deliverables.
