Job Overview:
The position of Auxiliar de Programas para la Gestión y Analítica de Datos is crucial for the World Food Programme's operations in Colombia. The selected candidate will work within the Research, Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) unit, focusing on the strategic management of beneficiary information throughout all phases of program cycles. This role involves ensuring the quality and effectiveness of interventions aimed at improving food security and nutrition for vulnerable populations. The candidate will support the Identity Management (IDM) team, which is responsible for managing data systems and processes related to beneficiaries, ensuring compliance with security and privacy principles. The position requires a proactive approach to data management, analysis, and reporting, contributing to evidence-based decision-making that enhances program implementation quality. The role also involves collaboration with various technical units and the development of strategies and policies for data handling and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will have a range of responsibilities, including: providing technical support and advice to area offices and units involved in beneficiary data management; conducting basic data analysis and generating reports on assisted beneficiaries across different modalities; contributing to the implementation of data capture tools while ensuring data quality and compliance with corporate guidelines; participating in assistance reconciliation processes, identifying inconsistencies, and preparing internal reports to improve operational efficiency; managing inter-institutional requests related to beneficiary information, including progress reports on ongoing projects; updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to beneficiary data control and distributions; engaging in self-directed learning through WFP's e-learning platform and sharing knowledge with team members; and fulfilling additional requests from the coordinator related to the role.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed secondary education, with a desirable professional degree in administration, systems engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields. They should possess at least three years of experience in processing personal data and using specialized IT platforms for data management. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of document management or process management, report writing skills, advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and experience with applications for process documentation. Familiarity with data visualization technologies such as Tableau or PowerBI is also desirable.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is the completion of secondary education. A professional degree in relevant fields such as administration, systems engineering, or industrial engineering is preferred, as it provides a solid foundation for understanding the complexities of data management and analysis within humanitarian contexts.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in processing personal data and utilizing specialized IT platforms for data management. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle data effectively and contribute to the operational efficiency of programs. Additional desirable experience includes familiarity with document management processes and report generation, as well as advanced skills in data analysis and visualization.

Languages:
Fluency in oral and written Spanish is mandatory, while knowledge of English is desirable. Proficiency in English will enhance communication and collaboration within the international context of WFP's operations.

This position is offered as a Service Contract (SC) for a duration of six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and resource availability.
