Job Overview: The Design and Multimedia Consultant will play a crucial role in the EAGLE project, a Skills Mobility Partnership between Austria and Egypt, aimed at enhancing economic cooperation and migration routes between the two countries. The consultant will be responsible for developing a cohesive visual identity for the project, which includes creating a logo, digital images, and promotional materials. This position requires a creative individual who can translate the project's objectives into compelling visual content that resonates with both Egyptian and Austrian audiences. The consultant will work closely with the project team to ensure that all visual components align with the overall branding guidelines, thereby enhancing the project's visibility and effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be tasked with several key deliverables over a two-month period. The first deliverable involves providing a mood board and visual direction concept for the EAGLE logo and promotional materials, which is expected to be completed within two weeks. The second deliverable includes presenting 3-5 logo options and drafts for digital images and promotional materials, with revisions based on feedback, to be delivered after four weeks. The final deliverable will consist of a complete package of the EAGLE logo and digital images in various formats, along with a final package of promotional materials ready for production, due after seven weeks. The consultant's performance will be evaluated based on the quality and timeliness of these outputs, ensuring compliance with IOM's standards.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in Advertising, Marketing, Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a relevant field from an accredited institution, along with five years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, a completed high school degree with seven years of relevant experience is acceptable. Proficiency in Adobe design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is mandatory. Experience in layout and graphic design is essential, and prior work experience in an international or multi-cultural environment, particularly within the UN system, is considered an advantage. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in a relevant field such as Advertising, Marketing, Applied Arts, Fine Arts, or Graphic Design from an accredited academic institution. Candidates with a high school diploma must have additional years of professional experience to qualify.
