The role also involves generating financial transactions in UMOJA, maintaining a detailed database of UN staff and issued UN permits, preparing driving permits, monitoring driving permit records, compiling monthly insurance and accident reports, and generating reports from the electronic vehicle monitoring system (EVMS) and Fleet Log. Additionally, the Transport Assistant assists with data collection and analysis, prepares presentations and reports, and updates information materials such as web pages or brochures. The position may also require carrying out other duties as assigned by the CTO.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driving license of type B is required, along with knowledge of UMOJA and Fleet Management System applications. The position requires a strong understanding of transport operations management and the ability to generate and analyze reports effectively.
