Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage nutrition supplies by tracking orders, ensuring timely dispatch, and documenting processes to prevent supply expiration.
Collaborate with the Ministry of Health to maintain accurate distribution plans and forecast nutrition supply needs.
Support monitoring and reporting efforts by liaising with country teams and consolidating data for donor reports.
Archive progress reports and program data on the Health and Nutrition SharePoint.
Conduct a scoping of social behavior change communication materials to identify gaps and standardize messaging for optimal nutrition.
Engage and mentor young people in nutrition advocacy and practices.
Participate in UNV activities and promote volunteerism within the community.
Contribute to publications and reports on field experiences and volunteer actions.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment. Proficiency in data management and reporting is essential, along with a commitment to UNICEF's mission and values. The ideal candidate should demonstrate self-awareness, ethical awareness, and the ability to innovate and embrace change. Experience in nutrition programming or related fields is highly desirable, as is familiarity with social behavior change communication strategies.
Educational Background: A degree in nutrition, public health, social sciences, or a related field is required.
