Job Overview: The Online Volunteer position is part of WHO's efforts to enhance data-driven decision-making in regional training and learning initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteer will be responsible for several key tasks:
Cleaning and structuring existing training datasets for the years 2023 to 2025 to ensure data integrity and usability.
Building a functional, interactive dashboard that visualizes training data across various countries and technical areas, making it easier for stakeholders to access and interpret the information.
Ensuring that the dashboard is compatible with other WHO data systems and dashboards to facilitate seamless integration and data sharing.
Assisting in the organization and streamlining of training indicators and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance their visual representation and effectiveness.
Supporting both basic and advanced analysis of training reach, completion, and engagement metrics to provide insights into the effectiveness of training programs.
Providing recommendations and documentation on how to maintain and update the dashboard regularly to ensure its long-term sustainability and relevance.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Online Volunteer position should possess a strong background in data management and analysis. They should have experience with data cleaning and structuring, as well as proficiency in data visualization tools. Familiarity with dashboard creation and maintenance is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills are also important for providing recommendations and documentation.
Educational Background: A degree in data science, statistics, public health, or a related field is preferred for this position.
