The intern will work under the supervision of the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director and will be involved in various activities aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the ACT-CORSIA programme. This includes developing training materials, outreach materials, and assisting in the administration of the CORSIA website. The intern will also contribute to the preparation of papers and presentations for ICAO bodies, ensuring that the objectives of CORSIA are met. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
Assisting in the development of training materials necessary for the implementation of the ACT-CORSIA programme.
Providing inputs and support for the execution of the ACT-CORSIA programme.
Developing outreach materials such as brochures, leaflets, newsletters, training kits, tutorials, and practical guidelines/manuals to promote CORSIA initiatives.
Assisting in the administration of the ICAO CORSIA website, ensuring that relevant materials are processed and published effectively.
Contributing inputs related to the ACT-CORSIA programme for inclusion in papers and presentations to ICAO bodies.
Performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may include research and analysis of environmental policies in aviation.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a graduate degree programme (second-level university degree or higher) in a relevant field such as aviation, environment, aeronautical/aerospace engineering, climate change, or computer science. Applicants from countries where higher education does not follow the undergraduate-graduate structure should have completed at least four years of full-time university studies towards a degree. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in using digital tools for content creation and website management is also beneficial.

Additional Notes: This internship is unpaid, and all costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be covered by the intern. The duration of the internship ranges from three to six months, with the intern expected to work up to five days a week. Flexible arrangements may be available to accommodate part-time schedules for eligible candidates, in accordance with current off-campus work regulations. The internship will take place in-person at ICAO HQ in Montreal, Canada. Interns are not permitted to engage in any other form of employment within ICAO during their internship and are ineligible to apply for or be appointed to any post in the Secretariat or be contracted for any other remunerated employment with ICAO for six months following the end of their internship.
