Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Supporting the implementation of the Joint AUC/ECA migration project by coordinating activities and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Assisting in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of migration-related data to inform policy decisions and enhance understanding of migration dynamics in Africa.
Collaborating with technical experts to provide support for the AU Technical Assistance Facility on Migration Governance.
Engaging with member states to combat irregular migration and enhance cross-border cooperation.
Contributing to the development of strategies that promote the economic empowerment of migrant women and improve their participation in economic activities.
Supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing health surveillance and data collection related to migrants' health.
Facilitating workshops, meetings, and discussions with stakeholders to promote dialogue on migration issues and share best practices.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field. Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
