Job Overview: The Analyst position at WJCF involves supporting the development and implementation of a program strategy focused on the secondary prevention of cervical cancer in Rajasthan, India. The role requires a highly motivated individual with strong quantitative and analytical skills to conduct extensive research, both secondary and primary, to understand the ecosystem for delivering prevention services. The Analyst will work closely with state program teams to monitor and coordinate programmatic activities, identify high-impact areas for intervention, and develop compelling presentations and reports for stakeholders. The position demands excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellence, with the Analyst expected to function independently while building trust-based relationships with various stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Analyst will be responsible for conducting extensive secondary research, including literature reviews, and primary research through field surveys and interviews with stakeholders to identify barriers and interventions for improving access to cervical cancer prevention services. They will provide strategic and analytical support to program work streams, design and implement processes for data collection and management, and coordinate the implementation of programmatic activities. The Analyst will also identify potential risks and challenges to program implementation, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and development partners. Additionally, they will synthesize and document key learnings and support the dissemination of information through reports and presentations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of work experience, preferably with a postgraduate or master’s degree. Exceptional analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, along with strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate should have a positive, solution-oriented approach, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work independently in a diverse and challenging environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships in a multicultural setting are also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is necessary, along with the ability to think strategically and handle ambiguity.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is required, and candidates with a postgraduate or master’s degree will be preferred. The educational background should ideally be in a relevant field such as public health, healthcare management, or a related discipline.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in management or healthcare consulting, development sector consulting, or public health. Experience in program implementation and monitoring in a health-related context will be advantageous.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Hindi or other local languages would be considered a plus.
Additional Notes: The position is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, and may require extensive travel within the program state, often at short notice. The role is full-time, and the last date to apply for this position is 18th July, 2025.
