Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a range of duties that may vary based on their background and the specific projects they are assigned to. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting in drafting and preparing official documents for various UN initiatives. - Attending conferences and meetings, taking notes, and summarizing discussions for internal records. - Providing logistical support during conferences and meetings, ensuring smooth operations. - Assisting in the creation of interactive presentations for various stakeholders. - Conducting document, legal, and internet research to support ongoing projects. - Performing media analysis and research to gather relevant information. - Compiling statistics and data for evaluation of projects. - Preparing briefing materials for managers and senior officials to facilitate informed decision-making. - Engaging in speech writing and preparing content for presentations.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: (a) be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). While professional work experience is not required, candidates should have a field of study closely related to the internship. Additionally, applicants should possess good knowledge of standard software applications, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams. Skills in drafting news articles or social media posts, as well as designing surveys and polls, are considered advantageous.

Educational Background:
Candidates must be pursuing or have completed a degree at the bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. level. This educational background should ideally be in a field relevant to the internship position, such as international relations, public policy, communications, or a related discipline.
