Job Overview: The position is a fixed-term appointment for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extension for an additional two years, conversion to a regular appointment, or termination at the end of the initial period based on the needs of ADB and the performance of the staff member. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Collaborating with various teams within ADB to develop and implement projects that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Engaging with member countries and other stakeholders to foster partnerships and collaboration on development initiatives.
Monitoring and evaluating project outcomes to ensure alignment with ADB's objectives and to identify areas for improvement.
Participating in capacity-building activities and providing technical assistance to member countries as needed.
Contributing to the development of policies and strategies that support ADB's mission and objectives.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong set of qualifications that include relevant technical skills, experience in development finance, and a deep understanding of the socio-economic landscape of the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Educational Background: A relevant educational background is required for this position, typically including a degree in economics, finance, international development, or a related field. Experience: Candidates should have a significant level of experience in development finance or a related field, ideally with a minimum of several years of relevant work experience. Experience working in international organizations or with government agencies in the Asia-Pacific region is highly desirable.
