Job Overview:
The position is a fixed-term appointment for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extension for an additional two years, conversion to a regular appointment, or termination at the end of the initial period based on the needs of ADB and the performance of the staff member. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with various teams within ADB to develop and implement projects that align with the organization's strategic goals.
• Conducting research and analysis to inform decision-making processes and project development.
• Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Engaging with member countries and other stakeholders to foster partnerships and collaboration on development initiatives.
• Monitoring and evaluating project outcomes to ensure alignment with ADB's objectives and to identify areas for improvement.
• Participating in capacity-building activities and providing technical assistance to member countries as needed.
• Contributing to the development of policies and strategies that support ADB's mission and objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong set of qualifications that include relevant technical skills, experience in development finance, and a deep understanding of the socio-economic landscape of the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to ADB's mission and values is essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Educational Background:
A relevant educational background is required for this position, typically including a degree in economics, finance, international development, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as a Master's or PhD may be preferred, depending on the specific requirements of the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have a significant level of experience in development finance or a related field, ideally with a minimum of several years of relevant work experience. Experience working in international organizations or with government agencies in the Asia-Pacific region is highly desirable.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, as it is the working language of ADB. Knowledge of additional languages relevant to the Asia-Pacific region may be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
