Job Overview: The Senior Analyst position within the Science and Technology Policy Division (STP) of the OECD's Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) is pivotal in leading statistical development and monitoring activities. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading and coordinating STI measurement activities, managing projects to ensure timely delivery of quality outputs, and supervising team members. Key duties include overseeing statistical data collection and reporting procedures, preparing high-quality documents such as analytical working papers and guidance materials, and participating in multidisciplinary projects. Demonstrable experience in innovative data processes and project management involving socioeconomic research methods is essential. Knowledge of science and innovation policy issues and experience with cross-country research and statistical development are advantageous.
Educational Background: An advanced university degree in a relevant field such as economics, statistics, operations research, or data science is mandatory for this position. Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least eight years of professional experience in the field of official statistics, with a focus on business, education, or labor markets.
