Job Overview:
The Graphic Design Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the visual communication needs of the organization. This position involves creating engaging graphics and layouts for various platforms, including print and digital media. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create visually appealing graphics for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, social media posts, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather design requirements and understand project objectives.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all design materials and ensure adherence to organizational guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional content.
  • Edit and revise designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on design trends and software to continuously improve skills and output quality.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare final designs for print and digital distribution, ensuring high-quality output.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work and creativity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of web design and digital marketing principles is a plus.

Educational Background:
A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in a professional design environment may also be considered. Relevant certifications in graphic design software or techniques will be advantageous.

Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in graphic design or a related field is required. Experience working in a non-profit or international organization is a plus, as it demonstrates an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Proficiency in English is highly desirable, as it will facilitate collaboration with international teams and stakeholders. Additional languages are a plus and may enhance the candidate's profile.

This position is a full-time role based in Santiago, Chile.
