Job Overview: The Migration Policy Logistics and Support Expert will play a vital role in the development of the new State Migration Policy Strategy. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide logistics, administrative, and technical support for discussions on migration policy priorities among relevant state authorities.
Assist in organizing thematic panels and an international conference for validating the draft State Migration Policy Strategy.
Collect and document feedback from working meetings, consultations, and thematic panels throughout the contract duration.
Ensure timely sharing of consolidated inputs with SMS and relevant stakeholders.
Prepare analytical reports based on inputs from state authorities and partners, focusing on identified policy priorities.
Provide administrative and logistics support during discussions involving government authorities, experts, and other stakeholders.
Document feedback received during the international conference and other relevant events.
Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring comprehensive support for the drafting of the State Migration Policy Strategy.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in Sociology, History, International Relations, Political Studies, or related fields.
At least five years of experience in supporting migration or policy development processes.
Practical experience in document analysis and policy development.
Work experience in government, research organizations, international organizations, or migration governance authorities is essential.
Strong organizational and communication skills are required to facilitate discussions and document feedback effectively.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess an advanced degree in relevant fields such as Sociology, History, International Relations, Political Studies, or other related disciplines.
