Job Overview:
The Program Assistant position at the IFC Mexico office is integral to the Administrative and Client Support (ACS) team. The role requires an experienced individual who can provide comprehensive office support to the IFC Mexico team and management, significantly contributing to the achievement of the unit's work program. The Program Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including database management, event planning, travel arrangements, and editorial assistance. The candidate will also coordinate team schedules, manage communications with clients and government partners, and ensure quality enhancement for projects and documents. This position demands a proactive approach to handling diverse and complex assignments, interpreting procedures, and applying them effectively to support the unit's objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Program Assistant include providing a wide range of office support to the IFC Mexico team, which encompasses specialized support for database management, task management, event planning, logistics, and travel arrangements. The candidate will coordinate team schedules, monitor changes, and communicate relevant information to staff and clients. The role involves independently undertaking complex work assignments, managing incoming and outgoing communications, and ensuring adherence to quality standards for projects and documents. The Program Assistant will draft, edit, and translate correspondence, maintain accurate filing systems, back up administrative colleagues, and support the preparation of reports related to business development. Required Qualifications:

Previous work experience in secretarial, administrative, logistics, and finance duties is essential. Experience in an international organization or familiarity with World Bank Group procedures is advantageous.
