Job Overview: The position of Financial Services Regulatory Drafting Support involves providing expert assistance in the development and drafting of regulatory frameworks for financial services in the Cook Islands. Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive research on existing financial regulations in the Cook Islands and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with local stakeholders, including government officials and financial institutions, to gather input and feedback on regulatory needs.
Draft clear and concise regulatory documents, including proposals for new regulations and amendments to existing ones.
Ensure that all drafted regulations comply with international standards and best practices in financial services.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders during the consultation process regarding the proposed regulations.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations for regulatory changes.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss regulatory drafts and gather further input from stakeholders.

Stay updated on global trends and developments in financial regulation to inform the drafting process.
Required Qualifications:
Proven expertise in financial regulation and compliance, with a strong understanding of the financial services sector.
