Job Overview:
The Head of Programme Support role at NRC is a pivotal position aimed at enhancing the organization's fundraising capabilities and donor engagement strategies in Ethiopia. The primary objective of this role is to proactively identify and track donor opportunities, facilitate meaningful donor engagement, and assist in the development of innovative fundraising strategies. The Head of Programme Support will coordinate and write proposals for large and strategic funding opportunities, ensuring high-quality submissions through effective supervision of the involved team. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Head of Programme Support will be responsible for leading the development and revision of funding concept notes and proposals, both for direct applications and consortia submissions. The role involves staying updated on donor priorities and trends, sharing relevant calls for proposals, and participating in donor meetings to foster long-term collaborations. Additionally, the incumbent will support the development of a multi-year funding strategy, manage partnerships, and ensure quality control of donor applications and reports. The position also entails establishing a robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system, including beneficiary feedback mechanisms, to inform future program designs. The Head of Programme Support will conduct market research to identify new funding opportunities and engage with stakeholders to develop strategies for long-term sustainability.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Head of Programme Support position should possess a strong background in fundraising, proposal writing, and donor engagement. They should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence donor strategies effectively. A proven track record in developing successful funding proposals and managing partnerships is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in market research and a deep understanding of the humanitarian landscape in Ethiopia. Educational Background:
