Job Overview:
The Chargé.e de gestion des dons et du service relations donateurs is responsible for managing donations and donor relations services. This role involves maintaining and optimizing the donor database, ensuring effective communication with donors, and managing external service providers related to these tasks. The position is crucial for fostering donor loyalty by addressing their inquiries, managing donor relations, and overseeing the fulfillment of donations. The Chargé.e will also work closely with the accounting department and mission teams to address specific donor requests and will play a key role in the development of fundraising initiatives, particularly through legacies and donations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Chargé.e de gestion des dons et du service relations donateurs will have a variety of responsibilities, including:
  • Managing donor relations by welcoming new donors through various communication channels, training service providers on organizational procedures, and addressing specific donor inquiries.
  • Ensuring the quality of information in the donor database and managing the fulfillment process for donations.
  • Overseeing online donation platforms, addressing payment issues, and ensuring donor satisfaction.
  • Managing automatic withdrawals and ensuring compliance with accounting and marketing standards.
  • Collaborating with the administrative and financial department for annual accounting closures and ensuring proper integration of donations.
  • Following up on legacy cases and maintaining relationships with major donors and potential testators.
  • Proposing improvements to processes and communication strategies to enhance donor retention.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong listening skills, patience, and empathy, along with a high level of confidentiality and personal integrity. They should demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, initiative, and responsiveness. Attention to detail and maturity in dealing with sensitive topics such as end-of-life issues are essential. Teamwork and project management skills are also important, along with excellent writing and organizational abilities. Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and CRM tools is required, with experience in using QDNext being a significant advantage. A valid driver's license (Permis B) is a plus, and proficiency in English is also beneficial.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should have a BAC + 3 to BAC + 5 level of education related to the skills required for the position. This educational background should ideally be complemented by 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative role focused on client follow-up, with a qualitative approach to contact management, including at least one experience in the non-profit sector.

Experience:
Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in an administrative role that involves client follow-up and management. Experience in the non-profit sector is highly desirable, as it provides valuable insights into the unique challenges and expectations of working within humanitarian organizations.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in English is considered an asset, as it may facilitate communication with international partners and donors.

This position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy, with a short-term contract duration to cover maternity leave until January 9, 202
  • The monthly gross salary ranges from €3,183 to €3,316, depending on the candidate's experience and the organization's salary scale. The position allows for remote work, with the possibility of 4 to 12 teleworking days per month, subject to agreement with the manager. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 vacation days per month and 1 RTT day for each full month worked. Additional benefits include a mutual insurance contribution of 80%, meal vouchers covering 60%, and transportation costs covered at 50%.
