  • This paid internship is designed for undergraduate and graduate students who may not have extensive professional experience and who are exploring conservation as a career path. The intern will play a crucial role in WWF’s marketing efforts, focusing on acquiring new leads and developing online advertisements that resonate with target audiences. The intern will gain insights into WWF’s acquisition strategy, implement vendor tests, analyze data trends, and assist in creating digital assets for various advertising channels. The internship will culminate in a presentation summarizing findings and recommendations for future marketing strategies, providing the intern with valuable experience in lead generation and online advertising within the non-profit sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for researching best practices in lead generation specific to non-profits, analyzing WWF’s current lead generation strategy, and suggesting optimizations. They will review leads acquired in 2024 and 2025 to identify data trends and assist in onboarding a new lead generation vendor while implementing a test campaign. The intern will also evaluate WWF’s online advertising portfolio against other non-profits and use tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud to develop digital asset templates for various advertising channels. Additionally, the intern will ideate and create new holiday campaign concepts, including copy and creative assets for WWF’s end-of-year fundraising campaign.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be actively enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s program in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
