Job Overview:
As a Principal Corporate Services Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading the corporate services operations at the Thailand Resident Mission (TRM). This position is essential for ensuring the efficient administration of the mission, which includes managing field office support, business continuity programs, crisis management, logistics, and facilities management. You will collaborate closely with senior management within the Corporate Services Department (CSD) to develop and implement strategies that align with the department's goals and enhance overall organizational performance. Your leadership will be crucial in overseeing junior team members and ensuring that the mission operates smoothly and effectively, contributing to ADB's overarching mission of fostering prosperity in Asia.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include overseeing corporate institutional services to ensure seamless global delivery, identifying process improvements to enhance service efficiency, and providing high-level support and strategic advice on global institutional services in collaboration with Country Directors and Finance & Administrative Teams. You will ensure service quality, operational consistency, and adherence to best practices. Additionally, you will prepare TRM as ADB's backup Resilience Center for extended HQ disruptions, manage the activation of business continuity plans for offshore teams, and represent the Business Continuity Core Group (BCCG) with updates to the Crisis Management Team. You will also oversee participation in annual business continuity activation exercises, implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for activating ADB's Crisis Management System, and establish emergency communication channels. As a member of the ADB Headquarters Crisis Management Team, you will manage Command and Control at TRM during crises and oversee emergency procedures such as relocation/evacuation and medical response. Furthermore, you will coach and guide staff and consultants, oversee their performance, and provide mentoring to ensure their ongoing learning and development.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you will need a Master's degree in business administration or an equivalent field such as disaster management, emergency planning, or risk management. Alternatively, a university degree in related fields combined with at least 5 years of specialized experience relevant to the position may be considered. You should have at least 12 years of relevant professional experience, including international experience working in multiple countries. Experience in developing emergency planning, business continuity, and crisis management plans for large organizations and international institutions is essential. Additionally, you should have experience managing global corporate institutional services across diverse markets, along with demonstrated analytical and collaborative skills, and the ability to work effectively with various internal and external clients.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in business administration or a related field, with a focus on disaster management, emergency planning, or risk management. Candidates with a university degree in related fields and significant specialized experience may also be considered. This educational foundation is critical for understanding the complexities of corporate services and crisis management within an international context.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong emphasis on international experience. Candidates should have a proven track record in developing and implementing emergency planning, business continuity, and crisis management strategies for large organizations and international institutions. Experience in managing corporate institutional services across diverse markets is also essential, as is the ability to demonstrate analytical and collaborative skills in a global environment.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory for this position. Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information and collaborating with various stakeholders. While English is the primary language required, proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly in the context of working with diverse teams across the Asia-Pacific region.
