Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position within the General Counsel’s Office (GCO) at WWF is designed to support the enhancement of the organization’s understanding of the services and capabilities offered by the GCO. The intern will engage in various tasks that include updating and creating internal tools, communications, and training materials related to legal issues. The role involves collaborating with legal professionals and staff from different departments, such as IT and Communications, to redesign the GCO intranet page. The intern will utilize tools like SharePoint, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications to work on both content and format, ensuring that the information is accessible and informative for all staff members. This internship is part of WWF's BRIDGE program, which aims to attract talented undergraduate and graduate students who may not have extensive professional experience in conservation, thereby bringing fresh perspectives to the environmental sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for several key tasks, including:
  • Collaborating with the GCO to refresh and enhance the team’s intranet site, ensuring it provides valuable information and tools for all staff members.
  • Assisting in the creation of training modules, which will involve presentation design, recording, and effective communication strategies.
  • Updating insurance data collection tools and improving the claims tracking process and templates.
  • Working with the GCO and other teams to develop a comprehensive due diligence library.
  • Supporting attorneys and other team members with additional projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, candidates must be pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in fields such as pre-law, international affairs, political science, education, or communications. However, students from other disciplines are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must be actively enrolled in their academic program and should not have graduated by the internship start date of June 16, 202

This internship is a hybrid position, requiring the intern to be present at the WWF Washington, DC Headquarters Office for a minimum of two days per week.
