Duties and Responsibilities: The Programme Management Assistant will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including:
Assisting in the coordination of team activities and monitoring the status of communications and documentation.
Compiling and summarizing data on programs and projects, ensuring that all documents are complete and compliant with UN procedures.
Serving as the focal point for administrative coordination of program implementation activities, liaising with various units to initiate requests and process administrative actions.
Drafting correspondence and preparing reports, briefing notes, and statistical summaries.
Providing general office assistance, including responding to inquiries, maintaining files, and organizing meetings.
Guiding and training new or junior staff members.
Assisting with data collection and analysis for reports and presentations.
Translating documents and interpreting at meetings between English and Pashto/Dari.
Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of five years of experience in program or project administration, technical cooperation, or a related area is required. At least one year of experience within the United Nations Common System or a similar international organization is also necessary.
