Job Overview:
The CERN Theoretical Physics Department (CERN-TH) is currently seeking to establish a talent pool for Limited Duration (LD) research staff positions. This initiative aims to create a pre-assessed list of candidates who can be hired for future opportunities based on the organization's needs. The department is looking for exceptional researchers in theoretical particle physics, with the goal of developing new theoretical ideas that enhance the understanding of fundamental constituents and forces of nature. Candidates will be expected to contribute to CERN's experimental programs and engage actively in the scientific culture through participation in training programs and scientific events.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main functions of the Theoretical Physicist include making significant contributions to theoretical research in elementary particle physics, initiating and participating in various activities within the Theoretical Physics Department, collaborating with experimental physicists at CERN, and maintaining connections with the broader scientific community. Additionally, the physicist will be involved in CERN committees and study groups, contributing to the advancement of theoretical physics and its applications in experimental settings.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent relevant experience in theoretical physics or a related field. They should demonstrate a strong track record of post-doctoral research activities that have resulted in publications in peer-reviewed journals. Educational Background:

Additional Notes:
