  • Coordination of FCLP Workstream Requirements: Facilitate discussions with key staff to identify communications support needed for each workstream and assist in developing messaging and products.
  • Coordination of FCLP Event Activities: Manage the transition from preparation to activation for events, coordinating with internal stakeholders and leading specific event communications as directed.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee updates to the website and social media platforms, ensuring timely and relevant content is shared.

The educational background should ideally include studies in communications, media studies, journalism, international relations, or related fields that equip the candidate with the necessary skills for effective communication and public relations.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in communication roles, particularly in areas related to sustainable development, climate change, and partnerships. Experience in the UN system is highly desirable, and candidates with a background in organizing events or working with diverse stakeholders, including governments and civil society, will be preferred.

Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish and French is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate with a broader audience and engage with diverse partners.

Additional Notes:
The position is offered as an Individual Contractor Agreement (ICA) under a retainer modality, with a contract duration of six months and the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability. The contract type may vary depending on the candidate's residency status, with local fee scales applicable for candidates with national ID or resident permits.
