Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Fire Alarm & Building Automation Control System Technician include, but are not limited to:
Operation, maintenance, and installation of fire alarm and building automation control systems, including regular inspections and adherence to maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
Monitoring operations from a central supervisory computer, providing support to the conference coordination section, and ensuring efficient operation of lighting and HVAC systems.
Assisting in the supervision of electrical works and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective operation of electrical systems.
Performing independent installation and maintenance of generators, UPS units, and other electrical equipment, maintaining good relations with utility power authorities, and ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
Carrying out planned preventive maintenance and responding to emergencies as required, while maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
