Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Broadcast and Conference Video System Operator include:
  • Operating conference system equipment: - Setting up conference systems as per client requests. - Checking all equipment for proper operation before and after meetings. - Running conferences smoothly and efficiently. - Recording and editing audio and video materials using appropriate equipment and software. - Operating electronic equipment to transmit audio and video content. - Adjusting conference room settings, including monitors and presentations. - Monitoring video and sound feeds to ensure quality. - Compressing, digitizing, and storing audio and video recordings. - Managing inventories of CD/DVD discs and related supplies. - Notifying supervisors of major equipment repairs needed.
  • Performing maintenance on conference equipment: - Analyzing faults in sophisticated electronic equipment. - Maintaining and repairing various audio and video equipment. - Checking the functionality of MATV head end room equipment daily. - Making minor adjustments and repairs and reporting major malfunctions. - Installing audio/video cables and connecting various equipment.
  • Providing client support: - Ensuring client satisfaction and readiness to assist during conferences. - Explaining system usage to clients. - Liaising with supervisors to address client needs promptly.
  • Flexibility in work hours: - The role may require working overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on contractual agreements.
