Job Overview:
The Face-to-Face (F2F) Fundraiser position at UNICEF Croatia is focused on the direct recruitment of pledge donors throughout 202
  • Fundraising activities will be conducted in various cities, including Zagreb and Rijeka, with mobile teams reaching out to potential donors across the country. The role requires a team of 35 to 50 Fundraisers to meet the fundraising targets set forth in the 2023-2027 Country Programme Document and the 2022-2025 Private Sector Fundraising Strategic Plan. The position emphasizes the importance of structured private sector fundraising activities as a core function of UNICEF Croatia, integrating programmatic, fundraising, and communication efforts. Fundraisers will represent UNICEF's vision and mission, acquire pledge donors, and communicate the significance of sustainable funding for program implementation. Continuous research and knowledge updating through various channels, including the UNICEF website and social media, is also expected.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Face-to-Face Fundraiser include:
  • Representing UNICEF and its mission professionally.
  • Acquiring pledge donors through effective communication of UNICEF's program activities.
  • Emphasizing the importance of sustainable funding from the private sector for program implementation.
  • Conducting continuous research and updating knowledge about UNICEF's activities through various platforms.

  • Adhering to work schedules and timely submission of paperwork, including timesheets and donor inquiries.
  • Following instructions and procedures for work delivery and reporting relevant information to Team Leaders or the Office.

  • Participating in mobile team projects, with travel expenses covered by the Office when selected based on performance and availability.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for the Face-to-Face Fundraiser position, candidates must have completed high school. Proficiency in written and spoken Croatian is required, while proficiency in English is preferred. Candidates should possess an understanding of the UNICEF brand and general knowledge of its activities. An ethical approach to marketing is mandatory, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
