Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Driver must maintain accurate vehicle logs and report on mechanical status to ensure efficient vehicle use. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed Secondary School Education and possess formal driver training with a valid driver’s license. A strong understanding of local driving rules and regulations is essential, along with a demonstrated safe driving record. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant work experience as a Driver, preferably within an international organization or the UN system. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards is also required, along with the ability to assess vehicles for mechanical fitness and perform minor repairs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are critical for success in this role.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position is the completion of Secondary School Education. Additionally, candidates must have formal driver training and hold a valid driver’s license or certification to operate the assigned vehicle in accordance with local regulations. This educational background ensures that the Driver is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively and safely.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience as a Driver, ideally in an international context such as an embassy or UN organization. Languages:
Proficiency in both oral and written communication in English and Somali is mandatory for this position.
