Additional duties involve advising UNFPA colleagues on resource mobilization modalities, assisting country offices in developing Resource Mobilization Plans, negotiating co-financing agreements, preparing briefing notes for senior management, and ensuring proper reflection of donor agreements in internal systems. The specialist will also support visibility and resource mobilization for UNFPA's key funding instruments and perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and DER management.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, or International Relations. A minimum of seven years of experience at both national and international levels is required, with at least 3-5 years in Resource Mobilization and Public Relations in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in development assistance and donor relations is essential, along with a proven track record in fundraising and management of funding instruments. Familiarity with UNFPA programs and policies, knowledge of international development financing, and excellent negotiation and public speaking skills are also necessary. Field experience is considered an asset.
