Job Description

Established in the early 2000s, the organization has grown to employ over 500 individuals and operates in multiple regions across the country, addressing issues such as health, education, and economic development.

Job Overview:
The position of Responsable de Département Ressources Humaines involves overseeing the human resources department, ensuring that all HR functions are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. The role requires a strategic approach to managing human capital, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations. The successful candidate will be expected to develop HR policies and procedures that comply with local labor laws and best practices. Additionally, the role includes fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that the organization attracts and retains top talent. The HR manager will also be responsible for implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and promote professional development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Develop and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Address employee relations issues and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to understand the organization's HR needs and provide solutions. 1
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree or professional HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred and will be considered an asset.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in the non-profit sector or working in developing countries is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English is considered a strong asset. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Additional Notes:
