Job Overview: The Project Clerk position is part of the Health Governance Initiative (HEART) Programme, specifically focusing on the ILI SARI (Influenza Like Illness Severe Acute Respiratory Infections) surveillance project. This role involves supporting the management of data, documentation, and administrative tasks within the surveillance laboratory. The Project Clerk will work closely with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the project team to ensure effective project planning and implementation. The position requires a proactive approach to compiling and presenting data, developing training materials, and ensuring compliance with international laboratory standards. The Project Clerk will also assist in administrative support, including travel arrangements, event coordination, and maintaining office records. Duties and Responsibilities:
Support project planning and implementation by compiling, summarizing, and presenting data on specific project topics.
Implement project standard operating procedures in accordance with government and UNDP regulations.
Assist in developing training materials and accreditation documents for laboratory methodologies.
Ensure alignment of project requirements with international best practices and laboratory quality standards.
Collaborate with experts to integrate theoretical and practical components into training modules.
Organize and maintain technical information on proficiency testing and molecular lab techniques.
Develop instructional materials such as presentations, handbooks, and assessment tools.
Support the review and revision of training modules to ensure high-quality educational content.
Conduct internal audits and documentation to verify compliance with quality standards. 1
Provide support for data analysis, training sessions, workshops, and online learning modules. 1
Assist in the development of e-learning materials, including multimedia content. 1
