Job Overview: The Associate will work under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager and will be responsible for leading the design, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of interventions aimed at strengthening the provision of high-quality sexual and reproductive health services. This includes the introduction of prioritized family planning products. The role requires a motivated individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and function independently with minimal guidance. The Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring that programmatic activities align with grant objectives and contribute to the overall mission of CHAI.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Associate's responsibilities include driving the execution of programmatic activities, ensuring delivery against grant objectives, and overseeing program implementation. This involves planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting progress to global teams and donors. The Associate will identify strategic areas for improvement in programmatic performance and guide strategic planning and proposal development for fundraising opportunities. Effective documentation and file management for program workstreams are also essential. The Associate will participate in program quarterly and annual review meetings, build and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders, and act as a facilitator for key government and partner relationships. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business, public health, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a demanding, results-driven environment is required. High emotional intelligence, patience, and thoughtfulness in high-pressure situations are essential. Candidates should have demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple teams, including priority setting, planning, budgeting, and performance management. Excellent analytical, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills are necessary, along with strong process management skills and attention to detail.
