Job Overview: The Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the national C-19RM project across eight states in India. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for designing, deploying, and training frontline workers on data recording and reporting, while also supporting the implementation of the national program. The role demands independence, flexibility, and a commitment to excellence, as the analyst will coordinate operations across cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Analyst will provide programmatic support by assisting in the rollout of program activities, building capacity among service providers, and addressing data recording and reporting challenges. They will monitor program implementation, identify risks, and support grant management processes. Additionally, the analyst will synthesize results, disseminate learnings, and liaise with academic institutions and partners. On the technical side, the analyst will design and train the implementation team on data management tools, conduct data collection activities, and prepare work plans for monitoring and evaluation. They will also develop research tools and support data review meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Management, Public Health, or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant work experience in analytics, research, or monitoring and evaluation. Exceptional analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, are essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Candidates should be adept at managing multiple tasks in high-pressure situations and have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Experience managing government stakeholders is a plus, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Science, Engineering, Management, or Public Health is required for this position. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of health systems and program implementation.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in analytics, research, or monitoring and evaluation. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in high-pressure environments and managing multiple tasks effectively. Experience in healthcare consulting or development sector consulting is preferred, as it aligns with the responsibilities of the role.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Hindi is also required. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages are essential for effective collaboration and reporting.
Additional Notes: This position is based in India and may require extensive travel within and outside the program states. The role is full-time and involves working closely with government partners and other stakeholders. Compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
