Job Overview: The Consultant, Policies and Procedures will play a crucial role in establishing a robust framework and comprehensive policies that will enhance the operational efficiency and governance of CIMMYT. The selected candidate will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for providing regular updates on progress and any issues that arise. This position is based at CIMMYT Headquarters in Texcoco, Mexico, and involves a thorough assessment of existing organizational policies and procedures, as well as the development of new ones to fill identified gaps. The consultant will engage with key stakeholders to gather input and feedback, ensuring that all policies align with CIMMYT's values and institutional strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Consultant include conducting a comprehensive review of existing organizational policies and procedures, benchmarking them against industry standards and legal requirements, and identifying gaps and areas for improvement. The consultant will draft new policies and procedures to address these gaps, update existing policies for clarity and compliance, and ensure alignment with CIMMYT's overarching strategy.
