Support the implementation of the project’s wider political strategy, serving as a focal point for key stakeholders, including government, security, civil society organizations, and implementing partners.
Engage with government entities at national, county, and sub-county levels in Kenya, and at national and regional levels in Ethiopia and Somalia.
Maintain and update a stakeholder engagement strategy, ensuring effective utilization of the project's Stakeholder Matrix.
Integrate national and sub-national engagement insights into the design of the project’s grant interventions.
Lead the development of the programme’s policy and advocacy strategy, conducting political and policy assessments of target countries.
Coordinate with the Violence Monitoring Lead to provide briefings and validate data with key stakeholders.
Contribute to project quarterly reporting and participate in the development of learning products and events.
Proven track record of engaging with government and security sector entities at various levels.
Strong analytical skills for conducting in-depth political and policy analyses.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
