Job Overview: The Talent Acquisition Recruiter Consultant position is designed for seasoned recruiters who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent acquisition for the IDB Group. This role offers an opportunity to gain extensive experience in the field of human resources while contributing to a high-performing, cross-border team. The consultant will collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates. The position requires a proactive approach to attracting, sourcing, and recruiting diverse and highly qualified candidates, with a strong emphasis on client collaboration and compliance with institutional guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Client Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial HR screenings, coordinate candidate assessments, and facilitate interviews with the interview panel.
Candidate Management: Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates on their application status.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to institutional guidelines and policies throughout the recruitment process.
Deliverables and Payments: Manage invoicing linked to the delivery and acceptance of recruitment activities by the project supervisor, ensuring accurate accounting for days worked and outputs delivered.
Required Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, public relations, communications, psychology, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources or a related field, demonstrating skills in project management and attention to detail.
Skills: Ability to learn continuously, collaborate effectively, focus on client needs, communicate persuasively, and innovate in recruitment practices.
Citizenship: Must be a citizen or have a legal permit to work in the place of residency.
Consanguinity: No family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
Educational Background: The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as human resources, business, public relations, communications, or psychology. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of recruitment and human resources management effectively.
Experience: Candidates should possess at least 2 years of progressive experience in human resources or a related field. This experience should include demonstrated skills in project management and a keen attention to detail, as well as a proactive approach to enhancing recruitment processes.
Languages: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required for this position. Additionally, having skills in one of the other official languages of the Bank, such as French or Portuguese, is preferred and considered an asset.
Additional Notes: The position is offered as a Products and External Services Consultant (PEC) on a retainer basis, with a contract length of 6 months. The work location is remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
