Job Overview: The Coordinator for Private Sector Engagement will play a crucial role in supporting the Plastic and Material Science team at WWF. This position involves assisting in the development and management of corporate partnerships and multi-stakeholder engagement efforts to further WWF's conservation mission. The coordinator will be responsible for maximizing revenue and increasing public awareness of WWF's initiatives in the United States. The role includes implementing transformational business practices, coordinating research and communication efforts, and ensuring that all activities align with WWF's strategic goals. The coordinator will also engage with various stakeholders, manage project timelines, and contribute to the overall success of WWF's private sector engagement strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Coordinator include performing administrative functions for the Vice President and the Plastic and Material Science Team, which may take up to 30% of the time. This includes coordinating external meetings with private sector partners and internal meetings related to project and program management. The coordinator will engage in various project and relationship management activities, directly coordinating with WWF partners and developing materials to retain existing and prospective partners. Responsibilities also encompass supporting the development of reports, presentations, and analyses related to WWF's research and private sector engagements. The coordinator will assist in external communications, manage major project activations, and develop materials such as presentations, blog posts, and social media content. Additionally, the coordinator will track financial metrics for corporate partnerships and compile reports for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with two years of progressively responsible experience in administrative or coordinator roles. Preferred qualifications include one or two years of experience in accounting management or a marketing-related field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, initiative, and accountability in their work. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively under tight deadlines are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing capabilities, are required. Experience with corporate sustainability and supply chain sustainability is a plus, as is advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
