Job Overview: The Senior Assistant, Oceans plays a crucial role in supporting the Oceans program at WWF by managing a variety of administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of the department. Financial Accountability: Assist in budget preparation by developing preliminary data, monitoring expense reports, reviewing bills and invoices, and preparing payment requests.
Recordkeeping: Maintain logs, records, and lists using various software tools, ensuring data accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
Report Preparation: Compile information to prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including tables, charts, and statistical analysis.
General Office Duties: Coordinate travel arrangements, manage mailings, prepare materials for meetings and conferences, and perform miscellaneous office tasks such as filing and photocopying.
Team Coordination: May assign work to part-time and temporary staff and provide orientation and training as needed.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the department's needs.
