Job Overview:
In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Communication Manager, ensuring the effective daily operational communication and the implementation of global communication projects for the organization. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the local and international visibility of Handicap International's missions and actions. You will be responsible for the redesign and continuous improvement of the organization's website, including aspects such as SEO and accessibility. Additionally, you will create and optimize content for social media platforms, manage community interactions, and participate in the optimization of email marketing strategies. Your role will also involve analyzing statistics from communication tools and deriving insights for future improvements. You will lead communication projects in close collaboration with the Communication Manager or independently, develop communication plans for NGO projects, and support the operational management of communication across various teams. Furthermore, you will produce content (text, photos, visuals) for the Handicap International federation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include contributing to the local and international visibility of Handicap International's missions and actions. You will be involved in the redesign of the website (CMS), ensuring its continuous update and improvement in terms of SEO, accessibility, and multilingual support. You will create and optimize content for social media, including visuals, videos, photos, and text. Community management of social media accounts will also be part of your duties. You will participate in optimizing the email marketing strategy and track the statistics of communication tools, using the data to inform improvements for future campaigns. You will lead communication projects, either in collaboration with the Communication Manager or autonomously, and develop communication plans for various NGO projects, ensuring their effective implementation. Additionally, you will assist in the operational management of communication across different teams and produce engaging content for the Handicap International federation.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed higher education in communication and marketing, with a focus on project management. Proficiency in web and design tools is essential, and candidates should demonstrate creativity, proactivity, and inventiveness. Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of contact are also required. A sensitivity to the issues and values defended by Handicap International and NGOs in general is crucial. Flexibility and availability for travel are important attributes for this role.

Educational Background:
A higher education degree in communication and marketing is required, with a specific emphasis on project management. This educational background should equip candidates with the necessary skills to effectively manage communication projects and strategies.

Experience:
Candidates should possess relevant experience in communication and marketing, particularly in roles that involve project management. Experience in the NGO sector or working with vulnerable populations is advantageous, as it aligns with the mission and values of Handicap International.

Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory, while proficiency in Luxembourgish and German is considered a plus. Candidates should have excellent writing skills in French and a good command of English, with additional language skills enhancing their candidacy.

Additional Notes:
