Job Overview:
The position of Chargé(e) d’Administration/Logistique is crucial for the daily administrative operations of the NRC team in Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing administrative functions in accordance with NRC policies and guidelines. This role requires a proactive approach to managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and facilitating effective communication between various teams. The officer will play a key role in supporting the logistics and administrative needs of the team, particularly in the context of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan and the influx of refugees into Chad. The position demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a complex and dynamic environment. The officer will also be expected to contribute to the overall mission of NRC by ensuring that administrative processes are efficient and effective, thereby enabling the organization to deliver timely assistance to those in need.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Chargé(e) d’Administration/Logistique include but are not limited to: ensuring adherence to NRC policies, manuals, and directives; implementing delegated administrative functions in accordance with the action plan; drafting reports on administrative activities; maintaining proper document archiving; encouraging improvements in support functions; managing and supervising technical staff; updating contact lists and databases for the Sudan team; centralizing requests for badges and business cards; assisting the Admin Coordinator with visa and invitation letter procedures; preparing welcome packs for visitors; responding to administrative/logistics requests; managing transportation and tracking movements of personnel and goods; organizing public procurement for supplies and transport; preparing payment documents for the Adré area; liaising with state public services; overseeing equipment management; ensuring effective communication between Ndjamena, Sudan, and the field; making flight reservations for team movements; organizing hotel bookings for team visits; coordinating seminars, meetings, and workshops; managing office and cleaning staff; overseeing fleet management; managing guest houses as needed; establishing service contracts; ensuring proper physical and electronic document archiving; acting as the focal point for Admin/Log in Adré; managing phones for visitors and staff; and drafting service contracts for the Sudan team in the Adré area.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include proven professional experience in administrative and logistics management in a similar role within a humanitarian context. Candidates should possess a higher education degree in Administration, Logistics, Human Resources, or a related field. Previous experience in complex and unstable contexts or with international NGOs is considered an asset. The candidate must demonstrate a track record of achieving results in their responsibilities and possess strong professional skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, and internet applications. Additionally, candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have a higher education degree in Administration, Logistics, Human Resources, or a related field. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties associated with the position effectively.

Experience:
