Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter Consultant position is designed for seasoned recruiters who will play a crucial role in shaping the future of talent for the IDB Group. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in talent acquisition and human resources while contributing to a high-performing cross-border team. The consultant will collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team to manage all aspects of the talent attraction and acquisition lifecycle. The position emphasizes the importance of attracting, sourcing, and recruiting diverse and highly qualified candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. The consultant will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Lead Specialist, working in a dynamic environment that values purpose and drive.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, managing the entire recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance. This includes ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. The consultant will collaborate with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Responsibilities also include conducting initial HR screenings, initiating online candidate assessments, coordinating interviews with the interview panel, and evaluating candidates’ qualifications and fit for the institution. Additionally, the consultant will maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely status updates, and ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines and policies.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, public relations, communications, psychology, or other relevant fields. They should have at least 2 years of progressive experience in human resources or a related field, demonstrating skills in project management with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will exhibit agility and a curiosity for process enhancement, along with key skills such as continuous learning, collaboration, client focus, effective communication, and innovation.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as human resources, business, public relations, communications, or psychology is required for this position. This educational background is essential to understand the responsibilities and functions associated with talent acquisition and human resources.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources or a related field. Candidates should have demonstrated skills in project management and a strong attention to detail, showcasing their ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in recruitment processes and a solid understanding of talent acquisition strategies are crucial for success in this role.

Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory for this position. Additionally, having skills in one of the other Bank official languages, such as French or Portuguese, is preferred and considered an asset.

Additional Notes:
The position is classified as a Products and External Services Consultant (PEC) with a retainer contract type. The length of the contract is 2 months, and the work location is remote. Candidates must be citizens or have a legal permit to work from their place of residency. Furthermore, applicants should not have any family members working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouses.
