Job Overview: The position of Responsable Ressources Humaines involves overseeing the human resources functions within the organization. This includes managing recruitment processes, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The individual will be expected to develop HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's mission and values. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with various departments to support organizational goals and enhance employee engagement. The candidate will also be responsible for training and development initiatives to foster a skilled workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration into the organization.
Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to staff and management.
Conduct performance evaluations and develop performance improvement plans as necessary.
Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
Monitor and report on HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree or professional HR certification is preferred and will be considered an asset.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience working in the humanitarian sector is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English is considered a strong asset. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.
Additional Notes: This is a full-time position based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
