Job Overview:
The position of Responsable de Département Ressources Humaines entails overseeing the human resources department's operations, ensuring that all HR functions align with the organization's strategic goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, employee relations, performance management, and training and development initiatives. The candidate will also be expected to stay updated on labor laws and regulations in the Democratic Republic of Congo to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing any issues or conflicts that arise in the workplace.
  • Implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Democratic Republic of Congo is essential.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree or professional HR certification (such as SHRM or CIPD) is preferred and will be considered an asset.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in the non-profit sector or international organizations is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication in the organization. Proficiency in English is considered a strong asset, and knowledge of local languages is a plus.
