Job Overview: The IDB is seeking an expert in behavioral economics to provide scientific and technical guidance for a research project focused on understanding the informal economy and the behaviors of economic agents in Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Suriname. The consultant will play a crucial role in supporting technical coordinators and project teams by offering insights based on their extensive research and publications in the field. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in economics, with a PhD preferred. A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience or a strong record of academic publications in behavioral economics is required. The consultant should demonstrate expertise in analyzing economic behaviors and possess strong analytical skills to guide research effectively. Proficiency in both Spanish and English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this role.
Educational Background: The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in economics, with a preference for those holding a PhD in the same field.
