Job Overview:
The Técnico de Emprendimiento Juvenil will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding young entrepreneurs in Galicia. This position involves working closely with youth to identify their entrepreneurial aspirations and providing them with tailored advice and resources to help them succeed. The individual will be responsible for organizing workshops, training sessions, and networking events aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of participants. Additionally, the Técnico will collaborate with local businesses and stakeholders to create opportunities for young entrepreneurs, ensuring they have access to mentorship and funding. The role requires a proactive approach to engage with the youth community and promote the organization's initiatives effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of young entrepreneurs' needs and aspirations to provide personalized support.
  • Develop and implement training programs and workshops focused on entrepreneurship skills, business planning, and financial literacy.
  • Facilitate networking events to connect young entrepreneurs with local business leaders and potential investors.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions to integrate entrepreneurship education into their curricula.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants in the entrepreneurship programs and provide ongoing support.
  • Create promotional materials and campaigns to raise awareness about the organization's initiatives and attract participants.
  • Maintain relationships with local businesses and stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for youth entrepreneurship.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on program outcomes and impact for stakeholders and funding agencies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of entrepreneurship and small business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with youth and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management and organizational skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the local business landscape and resources available for entrepreneurs in Galicia.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Education, or a related field is required. A master's degree or additional certifications in entrepreneurship or youth development would be an advantage.

Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in entrepreneurship support, youth development, or a related field is preferred. Experience in organizing workshops, training sessions, or community engagement activities is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and proficiency in English is highly desirable. Knowledge of Galician would be an asset.
