Job Overview:
The Regional Campaigner for The Americas and Europe will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies that mobilize young people to participate in campaigns addressing key issues such as climate change, social justice, and political engagement. This position requires a dynamic individual who can inspire and organize youth groups, facilitate workshops, and create engaging content for various platforms. The Campaigner will work closely with regional teams to ensure that campaigns are culturally relevant and effectively reach target audiences. The role also involves monitoring campaign progress, evaluating impact, and adapting strategies based on feedback and results. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth empowerment and a strong understanding of the socio-political landscape in the Americas and Europe.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regional campaign strategies that engage youth in social and political issues.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and youth groups to build partnerships and enhance campaign reach.
  • Organize workshops, training sessions, and events to educate and mobilize young people.
  • Create and disseminate campaign materials, including social media content, newsletters, and reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the organization at regional meetings, conferences, and events to advocate for youth involvement in campaigns.
  • Stay informed about current trends and issues affecting youth in the Americas and Europe to ensure campaigns are relevant and impactful.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages diverse perspectives and participation from all youth.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in campaign management, youth engagement, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of social and political issues affecting youth in the Americas and Europe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in political science, social sciences, international relations, or a related field is required. A master's degree or equivalent experience in youth development, campaign management, or advocacy is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in campaign management, youth mobilization, or advocacy work is required. Experience working in a multicultural environment and with diverse youth populations is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish or French is highly desirable, as it will facilitate communication with youth groups across the Americas and Europe. Additional languages are a plus.
